Franklinton Historical Society invites you to the Harrison House Marker Dedication on Saturday, October 19th from noon to 4PM at 570 W Broad Street. Learn the history of Franklinton’s jewel – the 212 year-old iconic Harrison House, one of the only three remaining structures of pioneer Franklinton.
Festivities start at noon: Partake of original Franklinton fare from Phillips’ Coney Island Food Truck with special pumpkin milkshakes; enjoy live music from Allie & Laura Smith; view displays in War of 1812 Museum.
Dedication starts at 2PM under the tent. See premier performance of War Comes to Franklinton: a Reader’s Theater excerpted from Franklinton’s newspaper The Freeman’s Chronicle.
