Join us as we gather fresh vegetables, herbs, and other seasonal ingredients from the U-Pick before heading over to the PK Memorial Learning Garden to make kvass, a simple, probiotic-rich fermented drink. Tangy, earthy, and packed with beneficial bacteria, kvass is a fun and delicious way to preserve the harvest. Marcie will guide us through the process, and everyone will leave with the knowledge (and inspiration) to make it again at home!
Please bring: a large glass jar (½ gallon or larger) with a lid, a cutting board, a knife, and a snack, dish, or drink to share with the group.
