Over the past six years, Highland Youth Garden has flourished under Shelly’s leadership. She built a remarkable team of educators and gardeners, helped secure the purchase of a house that now provides classrooms for students; launched weekly curbside produce markets for neighbors; founded a summer camp program; and added a natural playspace and additional garden beds—growing new opportunities for learning, nourishment, and community.

As Shelly prepares for her next chapter in nonprofit leadership, we gather to honor her impact and celebrate all that lies ahead. The evening will also offer an opportunity to meet Highland’s new Interim Director, Lindsey Christ, and reconnect with the friends and supporters who help sustain this vital work.

Enjoy light refreshments, brief remarks at 4:30 p.m., and time together celebrating the garden we all cherish. Award-winning seeds will also be available for purchase. Children are welcome. RSVP not required.
