At Columbus Metropolitan Library, we work hard to make sure your children have what they need to be successful. Our programs and services include after-school Homework Help, Reading Buddies, Ready for Kindergarten Storytimes, Summer Reading Challenge and much more. We have books and resources to enrich the lives of every member of your family. Stop in! We’re here to help.

Programming for January-May 2023

Play to Learn
Stop by to play in our Children’s area and work on fun activities with your child. Ages 0-5 on Thursday from 10AM-Noon.

Reading Buddies
Looking to improve your reading skills? Practice reading and writing activities with a buddy. Space is limited. Students Kindergarten-3rd Grade on Monday & Wednesday at 4:30PM.

School Help
Get free help with schoolwork along with computers, school supplies and friendly staff and volunteers to help. Students Kindergarten-12th Grade from Monday-Friday from 3-6PM.

After-School Snack
Stop by for a snack provided by Children’s Hunger Alliance. Ages 1-18, Monday-Saturday, 3:30-4:30PM.

Teens Create
Hang out with friends and learn something new. Ages 12-17 on Thursday from 5-6PM.
