Franklinton Development Association is a not-for-profit community development corporation that works in the Franklinton neighborhood. FDA’s mission is to stabilize and positively impact our community through the lens of housing. The organization started as a board-led non-profit aimed to create affordable homeownership opportunities. FDA’s mission has broadened over the years to address the affordability for Franklinton’s renters, who occupy nearly 70% of the homes in the neighborhood, and will face displacement brought on by the changing characteristics of the community. FDA provides safe, affordable housing to current and future residents of Franklinton.
